Job summary

Queen Mary’s College, in partnership with England Rugby and Hampshire RFU, invites applications for the part-time School Rugby Manager (North Hampshire). This fixed-term contract (3 years) involves developing rugby in schools across North Hampshire and enabling county-wide events and festivals.

You will work within a national School Rugby Manager network, coordinating activity with schools, clubs and volunteers and supporting teachers, young leaders and pathways to community rugby.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, sports development or community sport.
• Ability to build relationships with schools, clubs and partners.
• Confident planning, organising and delivering sporting opportunities.
• Effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Works independently while contributing to team objectives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate rugby activity across schools.
• Develop teachers and young leaders.
• Increase participation and create stronger school-to-community pathways.
• Support strategic development with Hampshire RFU and local clubs.
