Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated School Operations Manager for a specialist SEMH school in Plaistow. The role oversees day-to-day non-teaching operations, facilities and administrative functions to ensure a safe and efficient school environment.

You will lead office and premises teams, manage contractors, and support HR, procurement and budgets while working with senior leadership to enhance systems and ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in school operations or senior management in education.
• Strong leadership and ability to oversee multiple teams.
• Deep understanding of health & safety and school compliance.
• Experience managing staff, contractors and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily school operations and administrative functions
• Managing office, support and premises teams
• Ensuring health & safety, risk assessments and statutory compliance are maintained
• Overseeing contractors, maintenance arrangements and facilities
