CareTech Community Services in Cupar, Fife, is seeking a Residential Childcare Worker to support young people in Springfield House. You’ll help with daily routines, school prep, meals, and activities, while building trust and ensuring safety in a holistic, home-like environment.

We welcome applicants with and without experience. Training is provided; a full UK manual driving licence is required and sponsorship is not available. A rewarding role with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Full Manual UK driving licence required; no sponsorship.
• Warm, patient, a great listener and encourager.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines, school prep, meals and activities.
• Create a warm, homely environment by light housekeeping.
• Build strong relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan trips and activities such as park visits, movie nights and crafts.
• Keep essential records to ensure high-quality care.
