Job summary

TrueNorth UK is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role blends strong front-end work with back-end support, focusing on existing products while the team builds a major new digital platform.

You’ll work with React and Node.js, contribute to testing and quality, and collaborate with Product, UX/UI and QA to deliver features in a hybrid London environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong front-end focus with React (any framework).
• Full-stack development experience with Node.js.
• Good understanding of software testing and quality (TDD).
• Experience with unit and/or integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance existing web applications with a strong front-end focus.
• Build features using React and related frameworks.
• Support backend development within a Node.js environment.
• Collaborate with Product, UX/UI and QA to take stories through development, testing and release.
• Write and improve unit and integration tests.
• Work in an environment prioritising quality and reliability over shipping quickly.
• Contribute to applications hosted within Microsoft Azure.
