Job summary

Randstad Student & Worker Support seeks an exceptional QTS-certified teacher to provide 1:1 academic tuition and reintegration mentoring for a Year 9 student with EBSA and severe anxiety. The role blends core subjects with targeted emotional support to ease a phased return to school.

The tutor will deliver 3 days of in-person tuition weekly across English, Maths and Science, plus 1 day of mentoring focused on anxiety management and resilience, using CENTURY Tech tools and bespoke care plans.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential for appointment.
• Experience supporting EBSA, anxiety, ASD/ADHD is required.
• Ability to balance academic instruction with mentoring and reintegration.
• Patient, relationship-based approach with strong de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 3 days of face-to-face tuition per week across KS3 English, Maths, Science.
• Deliver 1 day of dedicated mentoring per week for anxiety management and resilience.
• Use CENTURY Tech for diagnostic assessments and micro-learning modules.
• Use Readiness to Return Checklists and Care Plans; liaise with school staff.
• Support gentle transitions to school spaces outside core hours.
