Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting for multiple Teaching Assistant roles across Clitheroe primary schools. Full-time hours are 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities across EYFS, KS1, KS2 and SEN support.

We are looking for passionate, patient individuals who can work well in a school setting, supporting pupils and teachers, delivering targeted interventions and helping children progress.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary school.
• A positive, patient and nurturing approach.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a wider school team.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Reliability and availability Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with their education and development.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers with the day-to-day running of the classroom.
• Providing 1:1 support for pupils who require additional help.
• Working with small groups and delivering targeted interventions.
• Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and confidence.
• Helping pupils access learning and make progress.
• Assisting with classroom activities and preparing resources.
• Working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on experience and preferences.
