Job summary

Liaise is a leading provider of specialist support services. We are seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner based in Chingford to work with people with complex needs, supporting relationship-building, independence, and skill development.

You will drive high-quality outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion continuous professional development within the team. You will collaborate across services, contribute to strategic aims, deliver training, and support staff through

Qualifications

Formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or be actively working toward one (e.g., BSc/MA/MSc in relevant fields).
Experience with people with learning disability, autism, and challenging behaviour.
At least 1 year of experience as a Positive Behaviour Practitioner.
Understand Mental Capacity Act (2005) and DOLS requirements.
Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
Good IT skills and ability to use computer systems.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with colleagues to deliver personalised support and help service users realise potential and independence.
Develop and implement evidence-based practice to improve outcomes.
Provide training and mentoring to support staff to build confidence and competence.
Complete behaviour assessment tools and write reports to a high standard.
Contribute to data collection and intelligence to drive service improvements.
