Job summary

Portland Pathways in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Pathways Advisor to support adults with disabilities and mental health challenges. You will manage caseloads, provide tailored employability plans, engage employers, and promote inclusive recruitment across multiple hubs in Nottinghamshire.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 Qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• Experience working with people with mental health challenges.
• Experience managing a customer caseload in a similar role.
• Strong employer engagement and relationship management skills.
• Understanding of welfare-to-work programmes, housing, benefits, and barriers to employment.
• Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills (Microsoft 365).

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of customers, providing personalised employment advice, guidance, and support to move them into sustainable employment.
• Conduct employability assessments and develop tailored plans to help individuals achieve their goals and overcome barriers to work.
• Engage with employers; build new partnerships; and promote inclusive employment opportunities.
• Deliver Disability Confident awareness and support employers to recruit people with disabilities.
• Support customers with job searching, applications, CV writing, interview preparation, and in-work support.
• Develop relationships with local agencies and community organisations in order to maximise customer opportunities.
• Attend job fairs, networking events, and employer meetings.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality and audit requirements.
