NHS Scotland is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Community Mental Health team at Riverside CMHT in Glasgow. Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required and maintained.
• Understanding of mental health conditions and impact on daily living.
• Ability to undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop intervention plans.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice, outcome measures and clinical risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with service users, carers and colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and high-quality person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined caseload, undertaking occupational therapy assessments, interventions and evaluations for individuals with mental health needs
• Deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions that promote independence, recovery and participation in daily activities
• Work collaboratively with service users to develop achievable therapeutic goals and personalised treatment plans
• Contribute to multidisciplinary assessments, care planning and ongoing review of service user progress
• Assess, prescribe and provide guidance on the use of adaptive equipment and environmental adaptations where appropriate
• Maintain accurate clinical records, reports and documentation in line with professional and organisational standards
• Participate in service development, audit, training, research and continuous improvement activities
