A leading advanced manufacturing company in Royston is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Technician to support the commissioning of production equipment in their flagship 3CR project. The role requires recognized qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and experience in maintenance within large-scale manufacturing. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance to ensure reliable operations in a high-integrity environment focused on sustainability and safety. Qualifications
Completed a recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification.
Completed a City & Guilds Electrical Installation Parts One and Two.
Experience in a large-scale manufacturing / chemical industry within a maintenance function is desirable.
Experience of working with Profibus networking would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Execute Planned, Reactive & Corrective Mechanical and Electrical maintenance activities.
Provide effective problem solving and Mechanical/Electrical fault diagnosis.
Undertake plant modification work to enhance safety and efficiency.
Conduct Inspections, testing, and monitoring tasks.
Skills
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
Electrical Installation Parts One and Two
Experience in large-scale manufacturing
Experience with Profibus networking
Education
BTEC ONC/HNC, C&G Qualifications Parts 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
