TeacherActive is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a secondary school in Liverpool. The role is temporary with an immediate start, supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils to access the curriculum and develop confidence and independence.

You will provide one-to-one and small-group support, help manage behaviour, and work closely with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment. Experience in a secondary setting is preferred, with Level 2/3 TA qualification desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in a school setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient, proactive attitude.

Responsabilités

• Support students one-to-one and in small groups to access the curriculum.
• Help keep pupils engaged in lessons and support KS3 and KS4 learners.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create inclusive classrooms.
