• Experience managing a caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge of law, evidence and procedures relevant to your specialism.
• Ability to draft clear and accurate legal advice, pleadings or statements of case and other litigation documents.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to explain complex legal issues to non-specialists.
• Comfortable working in a digital and agile environment with high professional standards.

• Manage high-profile, politically sensitive and financially significant cases in employment, criminal, or commercial and property.
• Draft and collate statements of case, applications, summonses or charges, notices and witness statements.
• Interview and prepare witnesses; advise on law, evidence, procedure, risk, remedies and costs.
• Instruct and manage Counsel and external solicitors; negotiate with parties, departments and stakeholders.
• Ensure all professional obligations are met in litigation and related proceedings.
