Job summary

Goresbrook School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils and work closely with teachers to enhance learning outcomes. You will provide targeted interventions and guidance to help students flourish, including those with special educational needs and English as an additional language.

You will contribute to a calm, inclusive classroom environment and work with colleagues across the school to promote wellbeing, resilience and academic progress for every pupil.

Responsibilities

• Support high-quality teaching and learning under teacher guidance.
• Provide targeted intervention and appropriate challenge to help students reach their potential.
• Support a diverse range of learners, including SEND and EAL, to access learning.
• Contribute to maintaining a calm, focused classroom environment and positive behaviour management.
