Job summary

St Ninians Primary School, part of Stirling Council, seeks a motivated Support for Learning Assistant for a 22-hour week post. Salary range £14,386–£14,675, temporary to 25 June 2027. Four days, 9:00am-3:00pm, with PVG required and a commitment to pupil wellbeing and inclusion.

The role includes supporting learning in class, in small groups, and individually, plus supervision at breaks and lunchtimes. A restorative approach and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience and a commitment to supporting children's learning and wellbeing are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of additional needs through planned activities, delivered in class, in small groups and on an individual basis, including outdoor learning.
• Supervise and support pupils during break and lunchtime, promoting positive relationships and wellbeing through a restorative approach.
• Be a positive team member within a friendly and forward-thinking staff team.
