Education Matters Group is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a welcoming school in Hertfordshire. You will support pupils individually and in groups, assist with SEND needs, and work with teachers to deliver engaging activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Experience supporting children with SEND is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring and proactive approach.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning, both individually and in small groups.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging classroom activities.
• Provide additional support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Help promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage pupils to build confidence, independence and social skills.
