Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our Specialist Learning Support team. The role involves providing high-quality, student-centred support for learners with SEND, across Functional Skills, GCSE and vocational programmes.

You will work across campuses with a flexible travel requirement, and will contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. The post offers a pro rata annual salary of £12,398.41–£12,814.95 for 23 hours per week over 36

Responsibilities

• Assist students in classroom with activities and literacy/numeracy support.
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred learning support through 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Support curriculum delivery across Functional Skills, GCSE, vocational and wider learning programmes.
• Promote inclusive practice and remove barriers to learning for students with SEND and EHCPs.
• Provide tailored support and reasonable adjustments to meet individual learner needs.
• Plan, deliver, monitor, and evaluate learner support interventions and progress against targets.
