Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking 3 Income Maximisation & Advice Officers to join the Advice team. You will work across multiple locations in the city providing money and welfare rights advice to diverse clients, helping to maximise income and prevent homelessness.

Role involves collaborative work with DWP, NHS and voluntary sector partners; on-the-job training is provided and a commitment to continuous learning is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience of providing money advice and debt advice.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development.
• Basic Disclosure is preferred and may be required prior to offer.

Responsibilities

• Provide income maximisation and money advice services.
