Vision for Education Ltd in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role starting ASAP. You will support pupils to access learning and make progress, working closely with teachers and the wider school team to deliver high‑quality learning experiences, including pupils with SEND and additional needs.

The role involves 1:1 and small‑group support, leading targeted interventions, assisting with planning and classroom activities, and monitoring

Formación

• Experience in a school or educational setting.
• Confident supporting children with SEND and additional needs.
• Patient, calm and nurturing.
• Able to manage behaviour and challenging situations.
• Strong communicator and team player.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Lead targeted interventions and learning activities.
• Support pupils with additional and SEND needs.
• Assist teachers with planning, preparation and classroom activities.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills.
• Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Work with pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
• Provide consistent and nurturing support throughout the school day.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Support pupils during lessons, transitions, break times and other activities.
• Build strong professional relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Take responsibility for activities and learning when required.
