Job summary

M4 Recruitment is seeking an HGV Class 2 Refuse & Recycling Driver to join a dedicated team supporting Bristol's waste and recycling services. Location Bristol, hours 06:00 - 14:18, Mon-Fri, Temporary to Permanent contract.

You will safely operate a Class 2 vehicle, perform pre-shift checks, assist with collection, and use mobile tech to complete paperwork. Training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
Good knowledge of driver hours, tachograph regulations, and road transport legislation.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 refuse and recycling vehicle.
Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
Assist with collection of waste and recycling materials.
Load and unload recycling boxes and containers.
Push and pull loads up to 25kg safely.
Use mobile technology to complete paperwork and route information.
Support other service areas as required.
Maintain high health, safety and customer service standards.
