Job summary

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. healthcare governance, quality, management, or patient safety)
• Evidence of continuous professional development in governance, patient safety, or risk management
• Formal training in incident investigation methodologies for PSIRF
• Registered healthcare professional

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incident management, complaints, risk registers, clinical audit programmes and governance reporting
• Lead PSIRF-related investigations and learning reviews; monitor action plans
• Provide expert advice to clinical and operational teams on governance and safety
• Identify themes and trends from governance data to drive continuous improvement
• Produce governance reports and assurance information for governance meetings
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with divisional leaders to drive improvements and staff engagement
