Qualifications

• Experience carrying out fire risk assessments on a range of building types.
• Knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
• Strong report writing and ability to present findings clearly and consistently.
• Ability to manage a varied workload to deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fire risk assessments on a range of premises in line with current legislation and guidance
• Inspect buildings and review fire safety measures, including means of escape and fire detection
• Identify hazards and assess risk to occupants and others
• Produce clear, accurate reports with prioritised recommendations and realistic timescales
• Review existing fire safety documentation and maintenance logs
• Advise clients and site teams on fire safety compliance and improvements
• Follow up on actions and carry out review assessments as required
• Keep assessment records and client information accurate
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver assessments on time and to standard
