Job summary

V7 Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Fire Risk Assessor for Bristol to support a long-term fire safety programme across a large estate. Role involves site-based work with hybrid report writing and administration.

The successful candidate will carry out FRA across a diverse portfolio, act as a competent fire safety professional under the RF Order, and produce detailed reports with action plans and mitigations.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety or equivalent.
• Membership of a recognised professional body such as IFE or IFSM.
• Experience performing fire risk assessments across large or complex estates.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out and reviewing fire risk assessments across a large and diverse property portfolio.
• Acting as a competent person in relation to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
• Producing detailed FRA reports, action plans and risk mitigation recommendations.
• Reviewing and maintaining fire position statements.
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of fire safety management systems.

Outside IR35 | £375- £450 Per Day | 6-Month Contract | Hybrid Working

V7 Recruitment are working with a large, well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to support a long-term fire safety programme across a large and complex estate in Bristol.

This role requires an experienced Fire Safety professional who is comfortable working independently across a multi-site environment, carrying out and reviewing fire risk assessments and providing competent fire safety advice to key stakeholders.

The position will be predominantly site-based in Bristol, with hybrid working available for report writing and administrative duties.

The Role

• Carrying out and reviewing fire risk assessments across a large and diverse property portfolio
• Acting as a competent person in relation to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
• Producing detailed FRA reports, action plans and risk mitigation recommendations
• Reviewing and maintaining fire position statements
• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of fire safety management systems

Requirements

• Membership of a recognised professional body such as IFE or IFSM
• Strong experience carrying out fire risk assessments across large or complex estates
• Excellent knowledge of fire safety legislation and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
• Experience acting as a competent fire safety professional
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
• Strong report writing and stakeholder management skills
• Higher education, healthcare, public sector or similarly complex estate experience would be beneficial
