Job summary

Guardian Jobs is supporting a well-established Manchester charity to recruit an Employment & Skills Coordinator. The role focuses on leading an employability and progression programme, helping people access employment, education, volunteering and training opportunities in a busy community setting.

You will work with partners to create joined-up pathways, deliver one-to-one coaching and group workshops, and monitor outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in employability, employment support or related field.
• Experience helping individuals facing barriers to employment or education.
• Strong employer engagement or stakeholder management experience.
• Experience delivering one-to-one support and group sessions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Good organisational skills and prioritisation.
• Experience monitoring outcomes and maintaining records.
• Confidence with Microsoft Office 365 and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop employment, skills and progression programmes.
• Support individuals to access employment, training, qualifications and volunteering opportunities.
• Deliver one-to-one coaching and facilitate group employability activities.
• Build and maintain partnerships with employers and training providers.
• Create sustainable routes into employment and skills development.
• Monitor outcomes and maintain accurate reporting data.
• Promote digital inclusion and access to resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver joined-up support services.
• Contribute to wider front-line service and organisational objectives.
