Job summary

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is seeking a Domestic Abuse Specialist or Qualified IDVA to join the Drive Project in Bradford. You will provide survivor-centred advocacy, risk assessment and safety planning within a multi‑agency team.

You will work under clinical supervision, with safeguarding at the centre, and engage closely with police, probation, housing and other services to reduce high‑risk harm and improve outcomes for victims and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic abuse support and risk assessment.
• Ability to work with multi‑agency partners and safeguarding.
• Driving licence with access to a vehicle and DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide survivor‑centred advocacy, safety planning and risk management for victims linked to Drive cases.
• Work under the direct supervision of lead IDVA/ISVA and Service Manager.
• Collaborate with Drive Case Managers and statutory partners to coordinate responses.
