Job summary

Brio Digital is seeking an experienced Python Developer with a strong DevOps mindset for a large-scale public sector transformation programme in Leeds. This hands-on role focuses on building, deploying and supporting cloud-native services across the full software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• > Strong commercial experience developing applications with Python.
• <> Excellent AWS experience, including services such as Lambda, ECS, EC2, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB and CloudWatch.
• <> Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
• <> Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar.
• <> Experience working with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• <> Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices.
• <> Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
• <> Comfortable working across both application development and cloud infrastructure.
• <> Experience using Git and working within Agile delivery teams.
• <> Previous NHS or Central Government experience is essential.

Python Developer (AWS / DevOps)

£500/day | Inside IR35 | 1-2 Days per Month in Leeds | Until 31st March 2027 | ASAP Start

We're looking for an experienced Python Developer with a strong DevOps mindset to join a large-scale public sector transformation programme. This is a hands‑on engineering role where you'll be building, deploying and supporting cloud‑native services, working across the full software delivery lifecycle.

You’ll work closely with architects, platform engineers and delivery teams to develop secure, scalable applications while contributing to cloud infrastructure, automation and CI/CD pipelines.
