Job summary

The Myton Hospices, Coventry, seeks a Community Fundraiser to grow support by engaging individuals, groups and organisations. You will build relationships, generate donations and deliver excellent supporter experiences across our community networks.

You will develop local fundraising activities, inspire volunteers and communities, and travel to events to widen Myton's reach. Inclusive, supportive culture and driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising and donor engagement.
• Strong organisational and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead and create local fundraising initiatives.
• Ability to build relationships and generate support locally.
• Excellent communication to inspire and motivate supporters.
• Self-motivation with ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to supporters.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire and network with individuals, groups, schools, organisations to support The Myton Hospices.
• Build new relationships and generate new donations while growing community support.
• Nurture and maintain community connections and ensure meaningful, local fundraising activity.
• Provide supporters with outstanding experiences and customer service throughout the fundraising journey.
• Travel as required to meet supporters and events; driving licence is preferred.
