Job summary

Nurseplus is hiring a temporary Children’s Support Worker to provide high-quality care across children’s services, including residential homes and SEN settings. You’ll support children with learning difficulties, manage behaviours, and assist with education and personal care.

You must be 21+, have 12 months post-qualification experience, and hold English proficiency. DBS is required on registration. Flexible shifts, weekly pay, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old and right to work in the UK.
• At least 12 months post-qualification experience in a children/young adult setting.
• Knowledge in EBD, SEMH, CSE or SEN/SEND.
• Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Workforce desirable.
• Good English and communication skills.
• Clear enhanced DBS (apply for upon registration).

Responsibilities

• Support, safeguard and promote wellbeing of children with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
• Support educational development and personal care to help children gain independence.
