Job summary

Walsingham Support is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist residents with daily living, personal care, meals and activities, promoting independence and choice. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided to build a rewarding care career within our residential service for adults with learning disabilities.

Work includes day and night shifts, recording notes and health records, and working as part of a team to support people with a range of needs.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support with personal care, meals, health appointments, activities and daily living skills, promoting independence.
• Complete service paperwork including daily notes, activity records, medication and financial records, health monitoring, incident reports and routine checks.
• Flexibility to work day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays; support people with communication, mobility, health and personal care needs.
