Job summary

Walsingham Support is recruiting a Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities live life their way. You will work in a person-centred setting, delivering compassionate care and creating meaningful daily activities.

No prior care experience is required, as full training is provided and a full UK driving licence is essential for this role. The role offers 12-hour 1:1 day or night shifts, plus 6-hour 2:1 community shifts to support community access and outings.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dedicated support workers are sought.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond to individuals’ needs.
• A willingness to provide personal care with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour 1:1 day shifts.
• Provide 12-hour 1:1 waking night shifts.
• Provide 6-hour 2:1 community shifts with outings and activities.
• Be flexible to work across different shift patterns as part of the rota.
