Qualifications

• Experience developing Android apps using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and MVVM architecture.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with local databases (e.g., Room).
• Knowledge of Git and mobile UI/UX best practices (Material Design).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced Android applications.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers and product managers to create seamless mobile experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and patterns.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise app performance.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, automation, and code reviews.
• Stay up to date with Android development trends and new tools.
• Participate in planning, sprint reviews, and Agile development cycles.
