Job summary

The University of Sheffield is seeking an experienced University Impact Manager to support researchers in delivering impact from knowledge exchange. You will design and deliver training, coordinate impact activities, and help prepare REF Impact Case Studies across faculties and research centres.

Working with the University Impact Lead, REF coordinators and academic staff, you will develop programmes, manage events, and produce engaging communications to showcase impact.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification required.
• Experience planning and leading projects with defined tasks and timelines.
• Proven ability to deliver workshops and presentations to varied audiences.
• Ability to articulate contributions across organisational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate awareness-raising, training and resources on all aspects of impact.
• Disseminate updates and support submission of REF Impact Case Studies.
• Coordinate and support regular REF impact review processes.
• Support Impact Steering Board activities and communications.
• Design and deliver impact-related events, including the annual showcase.
