Job summary

Arup is offering a Summer Internship in Business and Investor Advisory, open to Chemical, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering students in London or Manchester. You will join a ~120-person team delivering financial, commercial and technical advice across energy, utilities, transport and telecommunications sectors.

You will help with business cases, ESG due diligence, and proposal development, while gaining exposure to advisory work across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering or science related degrees
• Relevant Modules include Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and assessing reports and technical documentation
• Providing inputs to business plans
• Supporting the project team to produce technical and ESG due diligence reports from diverse sectors
• Supporting teams in preparing presentations and reports on findings and conclusions
• Business development support – writing and managing proposals, and keeping abreast of potential opportunities
