Job summary

Arup in London and Manchester offers a Summer Internship in Business and Investor Advisory (Economics). You will join a team delivering financial, commercial and technical advice to clients across energy, utilities, transport and telecommunications, supporting projects from business case development through to M&A.

You will conduct sector research, manage large datasets in MS Excel, contribute to due diligence reports, prepare findings presentations and assist with proposals and business

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business and Commernce, Finance or Mathematics.
• Relevant Modules include Economics, Regulatory economics, Infrastructure
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS office applications

Responsibilities

• Conduct research of sector/market and regulatory frameworks
• Handle and manage large datasets, working with MS Excel
• Support the team to produce commercial/market due diligence reports from a range of sectors
• Support the project teams in preparing presentations on project findings and conclusions
• Business development support – writing and managing proposals, and keeping abreast of potential opportunities
