Job summary

Ipsos Public Affairs is recruiting an Evaluation Consultant to work across health, economic and social policy evaluations. You will manage small projects, apply a range of methods, and contribute to high quality outputs. The role is suitable for early to mid-career professionals.

We offer hybrid working with offices in London, Manchester and Edinburgh; travel to other offices for meetings is expected. You will develop proposals, manage client relationships and deliver rigorous analyses using

Qualifications

• Experience delivering social and/or policy research in consultancy, research agency, public sector, academic or related environment.
• Strong understanding of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
• Excellent written communication skills, with client-facing outputs.
• Experience presenting findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to bids, proposals or business development.

Responsibilities

• Clean, integrate and analyse quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources to answer complex policy questions.
• Conduct literature reviews, policy analysis and evidence assessments to inform evaluation design.
• Develop theories of change, logic models and evaluation tools.
• Design questionnaires, interview guides and research materials for fieldwork.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and engage with clients to develop insights.
• Draft clear, accessible reports and presentations for government and public sector clients.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients, stakeholders and colleagues.
• Contribute to proposals and thought leadership to grow the team and showcase expertise.
