Job summary

Ipsos UK Public Affairs seeks an Evaluation Associate Director to lead economy and environment evaluations within the Policy and Evaluation Unit. You will guide complex projects, apply econometric and theory-based evaluation approaches, and work closely with economists and policy specialists to deliver high-profile outputs.

The role combines client-facing responsibilities with strong internal collaboration, offering a hybrid working model and opportunities to expand business and policy impact

Qualifications

• Master's level economics or related discipline required.
• Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods is essential.
• Commercial mindset with ability to grow business and deliver research.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct evaluations through full project cycle from design to data collection and analysis.
• Draft engaging, persuasive publishable outputs.
• Present findings to clients, stakeholders and audiences.
• Lead editorial and design of successful evaluation proposals and pitches (£500,000–£750,000 GV).
• Collaborate with colleagues across Public Affairs and external partners.
• Provide specialist expertise in policy or methodological area.
• Support development of evaluation skills across the division.
• Support senior staff in strategic and operational management.
