Job summary

Ipsos Public Affairs is recruiting an Evaluation Consultant to work across health, economic and social policy evaluations, managing small projects and applying a range of methods. The role welcomes early to mid-career candidates and offers opportunities to travel between our London, Manchester and Edinburgh offices.

You will develop theories of change, conduct literature reviews and design evaluation tools, while building strong client relationships and contributing to business development

Qualifications

• Experience delivering social and/or policy research in a consultancy, research agency, public sector, academic or related environment.
• Experience designing and delivering evaluation or policy research projects with clear client communication.
• Ability to synthesize findings and communicate insights clearly in reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Manage small evaluation projects (less than £100k) including timetables, budgets and client relationships.
• Apply analytical thinking to evidence from diverse sources and write clearly and coherently.
• Triangulate quantitative and qualitative evidence using appropriate methods.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and contribute to client workshops.
• Draft reports, presentations and outputs for government and public sector clients.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and colleagues.
