Job summary

The Brain Tumour Charity, based in Fleet, is seeking a Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer to research prospects, write compelling applications and manage a portfolio of trust funding opportunities. You will coordinate with volunteers and colleagues, maintain CRM records, and ensure timely submission of high‑quality proposals to secure multi-year support.

You will work in a hybrid model with two office days per week and some out-of-hours work, supported by a collaborative team dedicated to

Qualifications

• Experience writing trust applications and reports for funders
• Experience with project budgets and reporting against budgets
• Experience in charitable fundraising and within a fundraising team
• Knowledge of Trusts and Foundations and how they support charity goals

Responsibilities

• Identify and research trusts and foundations; build a pipeline of prospects
• Develop and manage a portfolio of applications and reports to deadlines
• Submit professional applications to small/medium trusts and secure multi-year awards
• Coordinate with departments to gather information, case studies and budgets
• Maintain trust relationships with donor care and stewardship
• Maintain reporting in CRM and monitor income against targets
• Deliver against agreed income and expenditure targets
