Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated cancer nurse to join the Acute Oncology Team at North Devon District Hospital. You will care for patients with cancer and complications of their treatment, working across 7 days with 8am-6pm shifts and bank holidays on a rota basis.

The role focuses on patients receiving immunotherapy and managing related side effects, in collaboration with the Immunotherapy CNS team. Internal applicants encouraged.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with valid NMC pin.
• Experience in oncology care is desirable.
• Good communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to cancer patients in acute oncology setting.
• Collaborate with Immunotherapy CNS team for management of side effects.
• Participate in rotating seven-day pattern with 8am–6pm shifts and on-call as required.
