Job summary

Moderna is expanding its Harwell bioanalytical capabilities to support its growing mRNA portfolio. As a Scientist, you will design and deliver immunogenicity and bioanalytical strategies, collaborating with research, bioanalysis, and clinical development teams to generate high‑quality data for clinical advancement.

You will work with ELISA, MSD, cell culture, and other technologies, contributing to assay development and lab operations in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment.

Qualifications

• PhD with at least three years of relevant experience in bioanalytical method development, validation and sample analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and regulatory expectations in bioanalytical science.
• Expert knowledge of bioanalytical assay platforms including ECL, immunoassays, and cell culture-based assays.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute phase-appropriate bioanalytical strategies for regulated clinical programmes.
• Lead development of immunogenicity assays (ADA, nAb) and PK/PD assays for protein quantitation.
• Ensure assays are developed, qualified and validated in line with timelines and regulatory expectations.
