Job summary

Gherson Solicitors LLP is seeking an experienced Immigration Solicitor to join the Immigration team in London. You will manage a varied private client caseload, advising on visa applications, settlement and citizenship matters, and draft high-quality submissions.

You will handle meetings with clients and stakeholders, maintain files, and support business development. The role is fully office-based with a focus on delivering excellent client service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 1–3 years' PQE, including in immigration law.
• Experience advising on a range of immigration and nationality matters, including visa applications and citizenship.
• Strong drafting and case management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in a second language.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of private client immigration matters from instruction through to completion.
• Prepare and submit high-quality immigration and nationality applications and representations.
• Draft application forms, supporting statements and correspondence.
• Conduct client meetings and consultations, in person or remotely.
• Support business development and marketing activities for the firm.
