Job summary

Oracle Law Global seeks a skilled Solicitor to handle delegated immigration cases and meet performance targets within the Immigration department. You will provide expert legal advice, manage your own caseload, and supervise junior fee earners while promoting high-quality service.

You will support senior leaders, liaise with clients and barristers, and contribute to case strategy and business development. The role requires meticulous research and strong client relations.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in immigration matters.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
• Highly organised with multiple cases and priorities.
• Strong research and data maintenance skills.
• Excellent client relationship skills and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Deal with delegated immigration cases and report progress to senior staff.
• Handle all aspects of immigration litigation and client correspondence.
• Prepare for hearings, appeals, judicial reviews, and trials when applicable.
• Liaise with clients and barristers; coordinate involved parties.
• Advise and negotiate with clients to achieve objectives.
• Conduct legal research and analyse case law for accurate advice.
• Maintain file management, time recording, and billing duties.
• Promote quality of service and support senior leaders as needed.
• Use the company case management system and adhere to procedures.
• Support Head of Department and Directors; contribute to business development.
