Job summary

SVB Solutions in Bedford is seeking an Immigration Solicitor to manage your own caseload and provide high-quality legal advice across a broad range of immigration matters, including visas, sponsor licences, settlement, and ILR.

The role requires at least 3 years' PQE, excellent drafting and client care, strong IT skills, and a track record of generating fees against targets. Office-based in Bedford or hybrid working arrangements offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' PQE as an Immigration Solicitor.
• Strong client care skills and ability to advise per the SRA Code of Conduct.
• Proven experience managing own caseload.
• Excellent drafting, writing and communication skills.
• Strong IT and technical abilities.
• Effective business development and marketing skills.
• The ability to generate fees in line with agreed targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload and provide high-quality immigration advice.
• Handle Business, Work, Student, Family and Visitor visa matters, sponsor licences, settlement and ILR.
• Prepare applications and respond to client queries with timely updates.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures.

IMMIGRATION SOLICITOR

Location: Office-based in Bedford or Hybrid
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience plus benefits

The Role of Immigration Solicitor

You will manage your own caseload and provide high-quality legal advice across a broad range of immigration matters, including:

• Business, Work, Student, Family and Visitor visas
• Sponsor Licence Applications
• Advice on migrant employees
• Settlement in the UK and Indefinite Leave to Remain
• Extension Applications
• British Citizenship and EEA Applications
• Human Rights & Asylum
• Deportation & Removals
