You will manage your own caseload with strong drafting, client care and IT skills in a professional environment.

The role offers office-based or hybrid working with opportunities to advise on visas, settlement and citizenship applications.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
• Minimum 3 years' PQE in Immigration Law.
• Strong drafting and written communication skills.
• Excellent client care and interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT skills.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients across a broad range of UK immigration matters, including business, work, student, family and visitor visas.
• Provide guidance on Sponsor Licence applications and migration compliance for businesses.
• Manage a personal caseload with initiative and independence.
• Assist with settlement and Indefinite Leave to Remain applications.
• Advise on visa extension applications and British citizenship matters.
• Handle Human Rights, asylum, deportation and removal cases as required.
• Deal with Subject Access Requests and EEA applications.

Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Immigration Solicitor to join its team in Bedford, Bedfordshire.

The role will comprise of advising clients across both Business and Private Immigration matters. The role offers office-based or hybrid working and would suit a solicitor with a strong track record of managing their own caseload.

The Role

You will advise clients across a broad range of UK immigration matters, including:

• Business, work, student, family and visitor visas
• Sponsor Licence applications
• Advice to businesses on migrant employees
• Settlement and Indefinite Leave to Remain applications
• Visa extension applications
• British Citizenship applications
• Human Rights and Asylum matters
• Deportation and removal cases
• Subject Access Requests
• EEA applications

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
• Minimum 3 years' PQE in Immigration Law
• Strong experience across both Business and Private Immigration
• Proven ability to manage an independent caseload
• Excellent knowledge of current immigration law and procedure
• Strong drafting and written communication skills
• Excellent client care and interpersonal skills
• Strong IT skills
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
