Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Tasking Officer in a full-time role based in Loughborough. You will assess cases from multiple cohorts and data sources, performing detailed triage to identify removability and barriers, and prepare tasking summaries for ICE teams.

• Conduct detailed checks to establish immigration status and removability.
• Enhance cases using tracing and available data to create clear referrals.
• Identify and prioritise cases for charter flights and national activity.

Responsibilities

• Triage cases from agreed cohorts, systems and data sources against national priorities and current tasking criteria.
• Conduct detailed case checks to establish immigration status, removability, barriers, and travel document position.
• Enhance cases using tracing, address, employment and other data to produce high-quality operational referrals.
• Identify, assess and prioritise suitable cases for charter flights, completing required checks.
• Prepare accurate tasking summaries and ensure records and systems are up to date.
• Refer barriers to appropriate stakeholders and monitor actions through to resolution.
• Review outcomes and overdue actions to identify barriers and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to performance reporting and continuous improvement, adapting to priorities.
