Job summary

UK Management College in Manchester is seeking a Visa & Immigration Compliance Officer to manage UK immigration, sponsor licences, CoS, and right-to-work activities. You will act as an internal SME on sponsorship processes, maintain the SMS and HRIS records, and support Home Office duties.

Working with HR, Talent Acquisition and external advisers, you will ensure timely compliance, prepare for audits, and keep sponsor records up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK employer sponsorship and immigration compliance.
• Practical knowledge of Sponsor Management System (SMS).
• Experience with CoS allocation and visa processes.
• Ability to interpret Home Office guidance and maintain audit-ready records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SMS and CoS activities in line with Home Office rules.
• Maintain SMS records and sponsor compliance documentation.
• Support sponsor licence renewals and Home Office audits.
• Coordinate right-to-work checks and HRIS updates.
• Provide guidance to HR and managers on sponsor duties.
