Job summary

SeeMeHired is hiring an Immigration & Compliance Officer to join the People Team in Wakefield. You will own all sponsorship and immigration activities, ensuring UKVI compliance and supporting the employee lifecycle.

Key duties include managing CoS, monitoring visa timelines, and preparing for audits and Home Office inspections, with oversight of Sponsor Licence obligations and stakeholder guidance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Skilled Worker sponsorships and Sponsor Licence compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of UKVI legislation, sponsorship duties and right-to-work requirements.
• Experience preparing for audits, Home Office inspections, and compliance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Skilled Worker sponsorship activities from start to finish.
• Maintain the organisation's Sponsor Licence and ensure compliance with UKVI requirements.
• Assign and manage Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS).
• Monitor visa expiry dates, sponsorship deadlines and reporting obligations.
• Submit sponsor change notifications and maintain accurate sponsorship records.
• Advise managers on sponsorship and immigration matters.
