Job summary

Duncan Lewis Solicitors Ltd. is recruiting for an Immigration Caseworker Level 2 Accredited in the City of London.

The role involves handling a range of immigration matters, including LAA funded and private client work, with emphasis on advocacy, client care, and accurate documentation. The successful candidate will report to the Department Director, support casework, and contribute to the firm’s renowned immigration practice.

Qualifications

• Immigration Caseworker with IAAS Level 2 accreditation.
• Broad range of publicly funded Immigration Law experience.
• Strong academic background with a Law degree.
• Experience as Immigration Paralegal/Senior Caseworker/Advisor.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Department Director and assist with casework including LAA Funded and Private client work.
• Attend clients, take instructions and prepare cases.
• Deal with correspondence and funding applications to the Legal Aid Agency; draft documents.
• Prepare applications to meet Home Office requirements and maintain file management.
• Attend conferences and court and ensure timely file reviews and compliance.
