Qualifications

• IAAS Level 1 accreditation required.
• Experience in publicly funded immigration law.
• Law degree or equivalent.
• Experience as an immigration paralegal/senior caseworker.
• Strong communication and client-care skills.
• IT skills including MS Office and document management.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Department Director.
• Provide proactive client care and sensitive support.
• Assist with casework across immigration matters and advocacy.
• Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases.
• Handle correspondence and draft documents.
• Manage funding applications to the Legal Aid Agency.
• Prepare Home Office applications and evidence.
• Attend conferences and court proceedings.
• Maintain accurate time costing procedures.
