Job summary

West London College is seeking a proactive Immersive Learning Coordinator to act as the main point of contact for immersive environments across the College. You will facilitate timetabled immersive lessons and help integrate AR/VR/MR, AI and digital tools to enhance teaching and learning.

You will maintain immersive spaces, troubleshoot issues, and work with staff to explore creative uses of immersive technologies, staying updated through research and professional development.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in immersive learning and educational technology.
• Experience or qualifications in immersive learning, gaming, digital media or related disciplines.
• Confidence facilitating learning sessions and supporting educators with technology.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach across multiple College sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for immersive learning environments across the College.
• Facilitate timetabled immersive lessons and contribute to high-quality teaching and learning.
• Support integration of AR/VR/MR, AI and digital learning tools.
• Provide technical setup and proactive troubleshooting for a seamless user experience.
• Maintain immersive learning spaces with high standards of presentation and usability.
• Manage software updates and hardware performance for immersive environments.
• Track user and technical feedback to inform continuous improvement.
• Advise staff on creative uses of immersive technologies to boost learner engagement.
• Keep up to date with immersive and digital learning developments.
