Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join one of our client primary schools in Tower Hamlets. You will support the class teacher with daily activities and help pupils stay engaged in learning.

Experience working with individuals and small groups, particularly with SEND, is valued. A safeguarding DBS check will be completed, and the role offers a competitive daily rate of £95–£120 and a scheduled 08:30–15:30 timetable.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
• Ability to provide 1:1 SEN support.
• Knowledge of child development and effective support strategies.
• Safeguarding and child protection understanding; enhanced DBS needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the class teacher to motivate students.
• Provide individual and small group support for learners.
